Windows Vista reads "disk check error - press ctrl-alt-del to restart" & won't do
anything else? I came home and my mom's computer screen turned blue and said "crash dump"
I have tried restarting her computer like 10 times and it keeps saying the same message and to boot from CD.
So I grabbed the Recovery CD and it acts like it is starting up - it gets where I can see my desktop without icons - but it doesn't do anything else.
My mom has really important information on her computer and can't afford to lose it.
How can I fix this?
