I recently bought a 1999 Pontiac grand am.... not running... The guy i bought it from said it was the head gasket... So I replaced the head gaskets.... upper and lower intake.... Belt... got the heads resurfaced and three valves replaced... And now the car seems to not want to run.... Hmmm... I think I got the short straw in this deal... Anyways I need help... My dad owns an auto body... And he has no idea... Reason I am here... I need answers!!! Please help!! No mechanic around me or that i know of or asked knows why the car is misfiring.... It starts and runs but as soon as you hit the gas the check engine light flashes and makes a noise that's it.... check the coils and the ignition module.... they're fine...
