Why is it that after Israel has crossed in to Gaza and held territory, why/how are rockets still being fired? Have the rocket firings died down at least? Why can't they target the rocket sites with airstrikes or neutralizing them with ground troops?
I remember this from the Lebanon War in 2006... when Israeli troops crossed in to Lebanon, rockets were still being fired.
I think it's a sad situation either way. I'm against Hamas' rocket firings, but I'm also against the deaths of innocent Palestinian civilians by Israel that have nothing to do with Hamas.
