Hiya, i've had my puppy Riley for about 2 weeks now and everything is working great. Hes a very quick learner, 9 weeks old and already knows sit, stay, fetch, and down (lay down).
At his set meal times i've always held his bowl wile he ate and taken it away from him mid way to show him that its my choice that he eats and not his (e.g alpha male). hes fine when i do this and happy to wait till i give the bowl back to him.
but when i give him a chew stick as a treat he will run away with it, and if i try to take the stick off him he growls and trys to get away. i just wanted to know why as i want to give my pup the best start in life.
