parts are still from japan? this person on ya said "there built in america"
so that doesn't mean there american
and this one other person said "american cars use japanese parts"
that doesn't mean japanese cars are worse than american cars

i was saying in general japanese cars are more reliable
just because american cars use japanese parts that doesn't mean it's not the american cars fault
and that doesn't japanese cars are bad
if japanese is NOT better than american reliability wise than how come honda and toyota is so much more reliable than american cars
the MAJORITY Of the parts of american cars are from america so saying american cars using japanese parts is japan's fault does not justify it

Its not American. It was designed in Japan, major parts were built in Japan, and profits go back to Japan.

According to most independent quality ratings American cars are just as good as Japanese cars. Both make some good and some bad cars. They all share the same suppliers too.
