More of an observation than a question. 2013 Diamondback Insight 2 on Amazon.com is $550. You assemble the bike and no warranty. The only way to receive a warranty is by having an authorized Diamondback or Raleigh dealer assemble it.

Same bike at R.E.I. is $499 + tax equaling about $547.65 where I live.

And you get a warranty because R.E.I. is an authorized dealer.
Why buy a bicycle on line? Doesn't pay.
