Ok I have a stereo that I got for about $150 and it says that it has a total 100 Watt RMS and when I plug more than 2 speakers into it and turn it up past a certain volume, it says "protect" and the music stops. Now, I know that this is to protect the stereo from surging and completely breaking. However, I have a good set up of 7 speakers that I would like to use. I'm not sure exactly the watt power on all the speakers but most of them are pretty big, I'd say very roughly around 200 watts. I'm wondering what exactly I should be looking for that could safely handle all the watt power of 7 speakers and not cost too much.
