We are in the modern world of freedom of religion, so many in every family has members that are Methodist, many are Baptist, many are Pentecostal, many are Lutheran, many are Church of Christ, many are Episcopalian,
many are Seventh -dat Adventist, many are Latter -day Saints and many are
Jehovah's Witnesses to name a few of familiarity to most all people and not name then all, but give a reason why the modern world uses the word religion.
Religion is mentions so few times in the bible, but now used in reference to Abraham of Matt.1:1-17, who is in genealogy of Jesus, who he or all his family [ did need or needed many identifications down through time ], got the law from Moses that was in Old Testament to Luke 16:16,17 and Jesus on earth until he ascended year 33. At 2008 CE in our modern time this is the world as we know it. These are the terms we have come to use.
