Whats a good small SUV to get?

I'm 19 and Im a great driver. About 3 years ago my mom gave me her old station wagon [2003 Ford Focus se]. Since I commute back and forth to college and work and everything in between all the miles are killing the car. It currently has 157 thousand miles and its starting to break down. Just this year I put in 4 thousand dollars and im sick of getting it fixed. I have 5 thousand dollars saved up to use as a down payment. I was thinking about:
2002 or newer Ford Escape
2004 -2008 Jeep Wrangler/Liberty
2002 or newer Toyota RAV-4
2002 or newer Honda CR-V

If I have to get a regular car then:
2000 or newer Honda Civic
Chevrolet Cobalt
2005 or newer Toyota Corolla

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

You will just be trading one problem for another! 10 year old cars will have 120K-150K miles on them and will have the same problems that your current 2003 vehicle has. Keep the Focus and drive it until you get your $4k use out of it. Good Luck
