What funk guitar amp should i get?
Ok right. I desparetely need/want a new guitar amp. Funk is definately main style so am looking for something that will deliver a VERY funkay tone. I have around £500 - £600 to spend on it.
To be frank i dont really know a Great deal about amps.
I really wanted/want a 4x12 valve half stack amp but after looking around i found the only real 4x12 valve half stack there is , is the peavy valveking halfstack (which isnt really my kinda thing). It also then occured to me that any 4x12 half stacks around this kinda price are probably going to be balls seing as the cheapest marshall heads are like £600 alone.
Anyway, I (reluctantly) went on to look at combos and i am looking at the fender blues deluxe/ fender hot rod deluxe. Please tell me if these are any good and please tell me if you know/recommend any other amps that will be sweet for funk music.
Oh, and also, I am going to be playing a few gigs, not very big maybe like 50-100 peeps max so yeah, please take that into account.
