Right now I have Hancock tires ( 215/55-17 ) that are absolutly horrible in the snow in upstate NY, so I was looking to purchase rims and tires for the winter. I looked at TIRERACK.COM and was looking to go down to smaller rims (215/60-16) which is suggested. But they suggest the goodyear eagle ultra grip GW3 which is a "performance snow tire". I am close to buying this but was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions on a BETTER tire maybe that would fit my vehicle and give me better performance in these harsh winters? Or another website that offers different tires and rims? Thanks!
