...replace the Hepa Cabin filter ($80/yr)? We bought a new 2008 Hyundai Elantra about 9 months ago. Yesterday, when we took the car to the dealer for its 10,000 mile servicing, they told us that we should replace the Hepa Cabin filter. They also said we should replace this annually, at a cost of $80 per year.
Should this suggestion be followed? Or is this just another thing the dealers do to add to the profit margin on their new cars? What would happen if we didn't replace the filter, or at least didn't replace it every 12 months?
Thanks for any words of experience and advice.
