I'm thinking about buying a voice recorder for someone so she can record classroom lectures. I'm wondering if a dedicated voice recorder is best or would an MP3 player with a built-in mic do just as well?
She wants the ability to listen to the lectures during her long commute drive. She may or may not want to d/l and archive the lectures (to CD or alternatively to PC and then later load back into the device) so she can listen to old ones during these drives. I don't offhand know of an MP3 player that will allow quick and easy archiving like this. At least the ones I have don't.
So...advice?
