My mum had her right Kidney removed in Jan 2008 due to kidney cancer, and was given the all clear after a ct scan in Nov 2008.
In the last 5 wks she has been complaining of a sharp stabbing pain in the area of her left kidney which eases when she passes urine, and also burning when passing urine, she has had 5 urine tests done and all have come back clear of infection and had 3 lots of antibiotics just in case. But the symptoms remained.
Anyway she had a ct scan y'day and they have found a spot on her liver which was not there in Nov 08, what are the chances this is cancer again, I know there could be many things. The dr's have just said they don't know and want her to have MRI to get a better look.
I just want to know what people think or if anyone has been through the same.
