Satellite imagery captured severe storms and “tornadic supercells” that “battered” the central United States between April 25 and May 1, according to the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) which released this timelapse video.The storms spurred damaging tornadoes with strong winds and large hail.
