I am trying to decide to purchase either a used iPhone 3GS online or a brand new 32 GB iPod touch 4G. The iPhone 3GS would probably be either the 16 or 32 GB model. I already have a 2nd generation iPod touch, but feel that I am in need of a newer device that is able to take advantage of the new features of iOS 4, such as multitasking. I like the new iPod touch because of its new retina display, dual cameras, and its similarities to the iPhone 4. However, I also like the iPhone 3GS because of the fact that it has basically all of the features of the iPod touch plus phone capabilities. My current phone is very slow and buggy, so the iPhone would be a good replacement phone for me, too. I cannot get the iPhone 4, though, because it is too expensive at the moment to buy without a contract. Please help me to decide which would be the better device to purchase, as they would each cost about same price at $300. Thanks.
