road trip to san francisco?

my friends and I are planning to have a roadtrip to san francisco during the summer before college.
Any fun things to do in San Francisco?
how about artsy, beautiful places to visit?

I visited San Francisco two years ago but I only spent about a day and a half there. The only places I got to see were the golden gate bridge and fisherman's wharf.

you have to see the exploritorium and westfield mall and the metreon and union square and down town my friends and i always hang at the metreon (it's a movie theature with some other cool stuff in it too these are a couple thing to do.Have Fun!
