Hi, so I have this problem with my phones. I've come to Canada with the original SIM cards which were European, so I automatically got roaming with Rogers. A week after I bought Telus SIM cards for the phones and they don't seem to detect or register the SIM or whatever.
One phone has full service with Rogers, but won't make any calls or texts, the other one has no service but still shows Rogers. No signs of Telus SIM which is inserted in both devices.
The phones are 2011 Xperias, both carrier unlocked (checked via *#*#service#*#* thing). One has stock GB and the other one has custom CyanogenMod based on ICS.
Then there is the third phone, also from Europe, but brand new, never used before. This one works with Telus with no problem. I think the problem might be Rogers roaming kind of 'blocking' the device somehow.
