Whenever I try deleting a file, it does not "appear" to be deleted. However, if I back up one folder and then return, it's gone. Two problems here: First, there wasn't any window that showed how much GB (in my case) is being emptied out. And two, when I go to the main screen where the external hard drive shows how much space is left, the amount doesn't change. There was a way to empty it though, (Doing the Disk Cleanup) but I don't want to do it every time I want to delete something from the external hard drive.
