I have switched to comcast and purchased a Motorola SBG6580 modem. The comcast person will be here to install and connect the wires tomorrow. I plugged in the ethernet cable and the power supply to the modem but not the coax cable. The power supply has two parts to it, a cable that plugs in to the wall that plugs in to an adapter box thing which connects to the modem.
This adapter power box is making a buzzing sound. Is it supposed to do that? my guess is no since it does get a bit annoying. So if anyone has any suggestions on fixing this issue please give me an answer.
