internet on the nokia lumia 800?

i recently brought a nokia lumia 800 on contact with vodafone uk. ive never had a internet phone before so not sure how to connect it up. ive managed to connect it to the home wifi but havent managed to connect it when im out and about. ive tried all sorts but not sure what im doing lol. please can someone help, thank you

hey you need to go to your settings scroll down to network connection its will display EE or vodafone they will be something to slide to turn on and should say roam make sure you slide the icon thing to on oki hope it helps ricky from hull england
