So I totaled my 2000 sunfire 2 weeks ago and I'm looking for a new car. I'm waiting to get my money from insurance back but I'm expecting to get around $2000-$3000 so Car 1 and 3 I might not be able to afford. Which car would be best to buy? Thank you. 
Car 1: 2002 Malibu LS with 138,000 miles for $3250.
It's got a few scratches on the front, but not bad at all. I test drove it and it was pretty nice. It will need new tires though. The numbers are also scratched on the stereo so I would probably buy a new one.
Car 2: 2002 Malibu with 115,000 miles on it for $2100.
A spot about a foot long had faded paint the toward the back but i know someone who paints cars that could fix it. The interior is okay but there's a few black scratches on stuff. Idk if there's anything wrong with it because I haven't talked to the person yet.
Car 3: 2001 Mercury Sable with 123,000 miles on it for $3250. The outside is really nice, no scratches or dents but I don't love how it looks. The interior is fancy, with leather seats but the seats are faded.
Car 4: 2004 grand am for $3000 with 148,000 miles on it. I haven't seen it yet so I'm not sure what it looks like.
Car 5: 2002 Buick Lesabre with around 140,000 miles. It's my moms car and she said she might give it to me but she probably won't have enough money to buy a new car. I don't like the looks of it but it is really nice. The only probably is I probably won't be able to have it. -_-
