...long trips back and forth? I would like to buy a car, my aim is to spend 15000. Right now i have a 99 bmw 5 series and its killing me on gas 88 dollars a tank and i only get 300 miles to the tank. I am considering buying one of the two cars because the 5 series cant handle everyday tasks.
One of my major concers is road noise, i really hate road noise and the BMW is VERY quiet.
The MPG's are VERy important too.
Currently i drive a car that gets 16/24.
The acura TSX gets 21/29
The Civic gets 29/36
The issue is that if i go to school very far away, i will be driving back and forth very frequently, also, this would be my car for a very long time (10 years). The advantages are as follows
Civic
-better MPG
cons
Road noise
Acura
-Less road noise
less insurance
cons
premium gas 800 dollars extra in gas over the civic.
Im really debating between the two. If i choose the civic, i may even be able to get a brand new civic.
What do you think i should do?
