My husband is originally from Michigan but we have been living in texas since we got together 6 years ago. We saw his family in december when we all went o na family cruise to mexico for christmas. He is wanting to go to michigan so we can visit his family this summer. I love my in-laws and I am happy t ogo visit them. Although, i am now working at a place where i only get a week vacation each year and I would rather use my vacation for something fun and exciting. When we visit his family we really jsut sit around and watch movies the entire time and visit. His family is unable to afford ot take another vacation as a group due to the economy although we are doing quite good. What can i do to explain to my husband without hurting his feelings, or is there something we can do to make the visit more exciting?
