How do you stop/delete a bluetooth paired device on the Galaxy S3?

I have a couple of Bluetooth devices paired with my Galaxy S3, one of which is my car stereo. Everytime I start my car my phone won't stop trying to pair with it; I have to tell it to cancel about 10 times. If I there is no way to do this manually, I just assume delete it but I cannot figure out how to do anything but "unpair" which doesn't keep it from trying to re-pair the next time I start my car.

Turn off the Bluetooth or keep the visibility time out as low as possible, I'm afraid you can't delete them but you can unpair or rename them. The unpaired devices will eventually get deleted.
