How do you pull the factory radio out of a 97 gmc sierra?

I need to pull out the factory radio so I can hook up a red and white stereo cable to the back so I can play my Ipod. Being built in it looks like you would have to pull the whole dash out. Also are there even RCA hook ups (red and white cable hook up) on the 97 sierra or silverado factory radios?

To remove the stero on that truck you have to begin at where your your odometer is at ... you pull it don't be scared you'll feel the clips and just keep going from there ..... you remove whole front of dash and it will expose the original stereo ... it does not have rca outputs though sorry ..
