How do I type in a different pin for a bluetooth device on my iphone?

I typed in the wrong pin for my bluetooth headset into my iphone 3g. Now when it's trying to connect, it won't work, but there's no way I can change the pin I previously typed in... or is there? what do I do now?

You can't change the pin, per se. But you can delete the device and re-add it which ultimately will solve the issue.
Go to Settings - General - Bluetooth
Now you should see the headset on the list, just tap on the arrow next to it.
Then click on Forget This Device.

Now add it all over again.
