is there any way i can lean out the fuel, in my fuel/air ratio in a 1995 dodge dakota with a 3.9 engine. i know there is a way by tapping into the o2 sensor, but is there another way?
not really. the O2 sensor controls the richness or leaness. if you take the O2 sensor out, then the motor will go full rich.
You have to be careful. If you make the engine go leaner, then the burning will be less efficient and the temperatures will go way up in the engine and then you end up with melted pistons
