I have Verizon. Just a basic plan: 700 minutes and unlimited texting between 4 phones no data at all. Recently my basic/feature phone broke. It was a Samsung U370 (Reality). My friend just gave me her old Motorola Droid Global 2. Works fine. Is there anyway I can use it? I tried many times to activate it and it just says "Unable To Activate". If I unlock or root the phone will it let me use it? I don't have any money to get data or another phone. Literally none. Yay for being a poor college student. It still has her old SIM card in it which can easily be removed.
