Home theater gurus please help?

So I'm setting up my first little home theater system for my apartment. I already bought the receiver, now I'm trying to decide on the speakers. I've narrowed it down to 2. Out of these, which would you choose? Pair of Klipsch VF-35 or pair of Polk Monitor 60 Series II? I can get them for about the same price. Out of those two, which would you choose and why?

I like the upgrade path of the Polk's and have never found the Klipsch to be particularly musical with that bright horn.

Klipsch would be my choice. They have been making speakers for a very long time. I also use Klipsch quintet for one of my bedrooms. I have used Polk Audio speakers and they are pretty good, but they did not last. It burned out after 2 years. You can also look at JBL and Infinity. Hope this will help you out.

I've had my home theater for about 4 years. trust me Polk Audio will satisfy your needs. they are amazing speakers.
