Grain and brush caught fire in northwest Poland on Thursday, July 21, authorities said, as a heatwave gripped the country, in line with rising temperatures experienced in several western European countries.Footage and images released by the Polish fire service show aerial firefighting efforts, and ground crews working to put out the flames.According to TVN24, the 100-hectare fire had threatened nearby forests, but was extinguished on Thursday afternoon.Multiple warnings were in place in many parts of Poland on Friday due to high temperatures.
