Does Divx Web Player work?

hi i downloaded divx web player i the past and found it didn't work no buffering and when i did research i found that there were a few bugs that they said they would fix. What i want to know is if Divx web player works now.

Im not interested in the Divx Player because im never going to download a movie again when i can watch it any time on the internet. im only interested in the web player so i can watch movies streaming online.

tbh you would be better off downloading, the file will download anyway and if you get caught it will all be there on your system, FOREVER!!

Assuming you intend to watch a movie that is divx encrypted/compressed, then all you need is the DivX codec and some form of media player.

I would recommend that if above is the case, then you should first download vlc player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ which is a simple but highly efficient player.

go to divx website and download the codec only.

if you already have download all the software from the package that divx gave you, better to uninstall the lot of it and start again. Only select the divx codec when the option to install is given
