I have AT&T and would like to use a smartphone without paying for the 3G .
We all know that AT&T requires a data plan when you use an AT&T smartphone.
In order to bypass this, I have unlocked a Tmobile android smartphone and used it with AT&T , because AT&T 3G does not work on Tmobile phones so therefore they could not charge me for a data plan .
But because the iPhone 5 is on BOTH Tmobile and AT&T , would AT&T networks still recognize that I have a smartphone and charge me for a data plan if the iPhone is a Tmobile iPhone and not an AT&T ?
