I downloaded a video a while ago...that's about an hour long...tried to watch it and it said I needed a codec so I clicked Web Help...and it brought me to Window Media Web Helps site and said

"Windows Media Player Error Message Help

You've encountered error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue.
Codec is missing

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the DivX MPEG-4 (DX50) codec is not installed on your computer.

The missing codec might be available to download from the Internet. For more information about codecs, see Codecs: frequently asked questions. "

So can someone help me out I really want to watch this video

Media Player is a very limited player. Install a codec pack like CCCP or K-lite

http://www.cccp-project.net/

Adding a codec pack will allow Media Player to play most types of video and audio.

which kind of video format will u watch? if it is flv. try fly player in google.... if it is mkv format. search mkv player in google and so on... easy!!!
