I am currently using at&t's "HSI EXPRESS", for $25 monthly.
-Downloading speed- My download speed is always around 40kb/seconds

Now i am thinking about switching to Time Warner Cable.
This is the plan i was thinking of getting.

Road Runner Turbo
Speed: 10M x 1M*

9x faster than 768K DSL

So the question I have is, what will my download speed be if i get the Road Runner Turbo package.
How fast will it be compared to my current download speed of 40 kb/sec?

Thanks

you could just pay another $10 more to att for "the elite" package that is 6.0 MB/s usually the download bar goes as high as 1000 kb/s

The download bar isn't what your speed is based on that depends on your internet speed and the servers at the website you are downloading from.

Hard to say for sure. Overall I'd say Comcast would offer better speeds overall. The only real drawback to cable internet is that it's shared bandwidth, so if you lived in a large metropolitan city with hundreds of users in your area, your speeds would suffer. If on the other hand you live in a more rural area, you'll notice a nice boost in speed.
