Car retractable antenna not working after installing new CD player?

I just purchased a x3500bhs DVD player by pioneer and installed it into my 2003 hyundai sonata gls. The HD radio or radio in general is not working or getting any reception. My retractable antenna is no longer coming up when the stereo is the source. Before I put in the new CD player when the car would turn on or the source was changed to stereo the antenna would come up. But it is not now, anyone know why? Is it a wiring issue? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

..."Aftermarket" Radios all have an "Auxiliary" wire...which is used to turn on AMPS and power antennas...you need to connect your antenna power to this radio wire...
