can "the wedding song" by julia rogers be used in a civil marriage in Scotland?

it mentions Ave Maria in the song which has 'Hail Mary' connotations and neither my partner or I are Catholic but we love this song and I believe you cant use anything religious in a ceremony.
 
You will need to talk to The Registrar. I know a couple who had one of their choices of classical music vetoed by the Registrar because it's latin title had a religious connotation, so it seems they are pretty strict about enforcing the rules.
