can i style my hair using heat?

i use cocnut oil in my hair every time i wash it and it really makes it soft.
i dont wanna damage my hair but was wondering is it its ok to use heat tools on my hair twice a week without damaging it so badly??

If you use the right products you could do it daily im not sure but i think coconut oil might works as a heat protective could br wrong but you could buy heat protective spray ask your hair dresser orr friends on what they use or take a bit of conditioner when your getting out of the shower not much just a drop and work it threw your hair without rinsinng it out it acts as a protective layer for your hair also dont do daily showers every second days better cause it helps keep your natural oils to moisterize your hair or if you need daily showers shampoo onlu twice a day
