can i put cds on my lg chocolate vx8550? how? do i have to have a music account?

please tell me there's a way to put songs on my chocolate phone... i have the cds, and i've heard that cds can be put on the chocolate phone... do i have to have a music account to do this? ( my phone is the old chocolate)
