This morning I turned on my computer and there were 2 black bars on the screen. One at the top measuring about half an inch and one on the right measuring about an inch. I tried updating drivers of my video card but turned out to do nothing at all.
After searching for a while I heard that the refreshing rate could be the problem, when trying to put it at 60hz, the graphic card doesn't let me and reverts back to 59hz even if I press apply.
I run windows 7 64-bit (basic version) with 2 acer x203h monitors, a Nvidia GeForce 210 graphics card and 4 GB of RAM if that matters. I also use a Trendnet USB KVM-Switcher so that my second monitor can work on 2 computers I have. No hardware was recently installed.
If someone could give me clues about why the screen is acting up all of sudden it would be much appreciated.
