I have a brand new battery and starter on my 97 lincoln and the engine still won't start up, it sounds as though the engine is being held back .its turning 1/4 the speed of normal start-up. It also doesn't hold power once I try and turn it over, ( drains very quick an then I have to charge it ) this has been going on for about 3weeks to a month now. I've changed the spark plugs n wires, checked oil, cleaned connections, tried starting while getting a boost, added gas, starter fluid, and hard to use diagnostic reader because of draining. In all, I am getting no different response from the engine.
Any suggestions?
