Hi i own a volkswagen gti vr6, this morning when i started the car i got a "STOP!" on my dash and the engine coolant lit up on the dash. This is the first time this has happened to me since i bought it about 3-4 months ago. I turned the car off and turned it back on at which point the stop went away, the temperature gage got up to the middle and all is fine when i drive, the coolant level seems to be exactly how it was before. Is this a sensor issue or something worse? can i still drive around to work and all as long as the temp gage stays in the middle? thanks in advance.
