I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 that I was going off-road with. I got stuck where water was up to my door. People try pulling me out, but nothing help. Till a guy in a big truck got me out. When my car was out I didn't know water was in my transmission, so I keep having fun till my car couldn't move anymore. When I over my hood there was smoke coming from the transmission and it was leaking all the oil/w water out. I then try to drive it home. The transmission didn't want to change gears. So I keep my speed on about 40MPH and 20MPH. When I went higher then that it started to smoke so I had to slow down. Do you think if I just change the oil it could work? Or would I need to change it again? I already change it one time.
