My friends truck wouldn't shift into overdrive, and he replaced the transmission. The tranny is a 4L60 electric. Even after replacing the tranny and the neutral safety switch, he is having the same problem. It either won't shift into drive/overdrive, or it will downshift from drive/overdrive. Any suggestions?
Where would the computer be for the tranny, and he said that he didn't see a module near the tranny. He replaced it himself. Could it be in the ignition? he would like to know.
