you'll need an amp, that has a "phono" input
if you're using real records
they have a lot of the low end EQ'd out, to keep the gooves small,
so if you plug a turntable into an amp without the "phono" input, it will not sound very good
it's called the "RIAA EQUALIZATION CURVE"
