Trying to order a new transmission for my project. So far it is a hodgepodge of custom aftermarket parts for a pleasure off-road vehicle using 930 axles. So when ordering a new/rebuilt trans, the options are 1969-70, 1971-72, or 1973-79.

So how much could one of these take on, alot more than stock? I plan on building a bigger motor 1776, or 1915 using all stock driveline and transaxle. So what's gonna go first?
I have removed the axle nut and tie rod. There is not enough room to remove the old alxe. Do I need to compress the spring and completely remove the wheel hub and all?
