This year's CONvergence is allegedly more steampunk themed than usual, so we may be required to wear goggles to the various sessions on evolution, skepticism, etc. I need help picking out which ones to wear. So far, these are the choices:

I'm broke, but I like the whole steampunk style, it's elegant, yet outlandish, love the goggles, the technology incorporated into it...My biggest problem, I'm broke as shit....any ideas on where to shop that'd be cheap or some simple DIY ideas?
If I may, I'd like to borrow a bit from comedian Bill Maher. New Rule: If you're going to ask $1,000 for a steampunk device, it must actually do something worthwhile, preferably related to steam power.
And something in this case cannot be "Kingston USB drive," which is what this is, and $1,000...
