I have a Dell Latitude D531 that is running Ubuntu 10.10 (linux). Until I can go get a wireless router, the only internet access I have at the moment is through a Motorola surfboard sb5101 cable modem.

Cable Modem? We are switching from the Linksys because it is giving us problems when we play XBOX Live. I was wondering how much better the Motorola is over the Linksys?
