recumbent

I recently purchased a used Diamondback 2100R recumbent bike and need a copy of the user manual. I checked with the Diamondback company and they no longer have any copies.

Generally speaking, what makes for the best workout, an elliptical, spin bike, or a recumbent bike? Why? What are the pros and cons for each?

The ability to adjust the tension stopped working.The computer display still works but when you increase the tension, nothing happens. Only the easiest tension is available.

Cross-Trainers or Running shoes, which would be the better choice? Right now I am using basketball shoes and my feet hurt in them.

i have had a reconstructed ankle for about 20 years. are the workouts compatible on these bikes.

I find I coast alot on my real bike so it is better to work out on my recumbent bike than my real one?
