There are certain frequencies that my scanner skips over. Is there a way to make my scanner pick up these frequencies? I have an old Uniden handheld. I'm sorry but I don't recall the frequencies right off hand.
If frequencies 275, 512, 620, 796 and 1026 Hz are all prominent in the spectrum of a certain church bell, which ones might be picked as approximating part of a harmonic series? Estimate the fundamental frequency of the best fitting harmonic series.

I was considering buying a digital scanner so I can pick up LAPD channels but was wondering if I will still have access to the old analog frequencies before digital came out? If so it will be well worth my money to sell my two and purchase a digital scanner. It will make things lot easier too...
